It's been a year of ups and downs for Greensboro.

As traditional industries have continued to wane, the city has struggled to reinvent itself and revitalize its economy - and not without some success. A new ballpark is taking shape, and many downtown businesses are thriving. We'd like to hear from you.

\ Let us know, in a response of 200 words or less, what you think the city's New Year's resolution should be. Contact staff writer Melissa Turner by e-mail at or by mail at 200 E. Market St., Greensboro, NC 27401. The deadline is 5 p.m. Friday.
