WENTWORTH — Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help finding a registered sex offender who allegedly failed to report a change of address.

Anthony ONeil Burns, 49, of Reidsville, is wanted on a charge of failure to report new address of a sex offender, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Burns’ last known address was the Colonial Inn and Suites, 2100 Barnes St., according to the release. However, a check of the address determined Burns was no longer there deputies said.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Burns is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Rockingham County at (336) 349-9683.

In an unrelated incident, deputies arrested Melissa Marie Grizzle, 36, of 2100 Barnes St. in Reidsville, on a felony charge of unlawfully using a social media site. In North Carolina, it is illegal for registered sex offenders to use social networking sites that children might be using.
