I know it is wrong for someone like me, with no credentials, to offer a diagnosis of mental illness in someone in the news, but I can’t resist.

I quote from The New York Times: “President Trump asserted Monday (Feb. 26) that he would have rushed in to save the students and teachers of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School from a gunman with an assault-style weapon, even if he was unarmed at the time of the massacre.”

If he had done so, he would have been the 18th victim. But not to worry, it was only a fantasy of a sick mind.

How much more do you need to know to certify someone who is not fit to be president? The 25th Amendment is designed just for this situation. I think it’s time.
