CLEVELAND - Warren Moon exploited the absence of Pro Bowl cornerback Frank Minnifield and threw touchdowns to five different receivers as the Houston Oilers beat the Cleveland Browns 35-23, spoiling the coaching debut of Jim Shofner.Minnifield was out with a sore heel and Moon celebrated his 34th birthday by picking on replacement Stefon Adams all afternoon, completing 24 of 32 passes for 322 yards without an interception. Moon beat Adams on fourth-quarter touchdown passes of 37 yards to Curtis Duncan and 23 yards to rookie Tony Jones. The Browns had taken a 16-14 lead on Jerry Kauric's 22-yard field goal in the third period before Moon got to work.
