She is survived by her daughter Belinda Tallman Leverock (grandson William) and son Richard David Tallman both of Florida & Brothers: Harry and Mickey (Virginia) Young of Greensboro & Joe Young of California. She was especially fond of her niece, Sharon Young Mills, and her daughters Jessica Brindle (great nephews Nathaniel and Nicholas) and Hannah Mills. Special appreciation to her lifelong friend Mary Catherine King for her loyal and loving support as well as undying friendship over the years. Another special thank you to Linda Jones long time trustworthy neighbor and kind friend. Ann was an avid coffee drinker, a lover of plants and the sun, and crossword puzzle solver. She loved the mountains, but most of all, she loved the beach. She enjoyed a variety of sports and always watched her favorite teams, her number one being the UNC-Tar Heels. At a young age, Ann was active in Girl Scouts. She completed high school and attended the North Carolina University of Greensboro, but she passionately loved UNC-Chapel Hill. She briefly lived in Florida, but returned to Greensboro and began her career in nursing at Wesley Long many moons ago. She spent the last years of her nursing career at Twin Lakes Retirement Community, in Burlington N.C. She loved nursing and thought it a wonderful profession. Ann could be sassy and stubborn, but she was loyal and loving to those she cared about. She will be dearly missed, but family and friends are happy she is no longer suffering and are forever grateful to have had the opportunity to love her. Until we meet again, rest well, Ann Nisbet. As requested by Ann, there will be no formal funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
