GREENSBORO Diann Price, age 66, passed away September 13, 2017. A Celebration of Diann's life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 17th at St. John's United Methodist Church, 1304 Merritt Drive, Greensboro, NC. Diann was the daughter of Aileen Routh Troxler and Garlan Banks Troxler. She graduated from Smith High School and UNC-Greensboro. She worked for many years in Marketing at Southern Bell, AT&T and Lucent Technologies Guilford Center. She transitioned eventually at Lucent into Human Resources where she devoted herself to problem-solving and being a positive influence in the lives of her fellow Lucent employees. Diann and her husband, David, enjoyed travelling extensively. She also enjoyed music, especially when David was performing with various area groups. Both she and her husband were members of the Barney Chapter of the Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club. Diann never met a stranger and more often than not the people she met became lifelong friends. Diann was devoted to her family and was a "second Mom" to her nieces, nephews and children of close friends. The number of lives she impacted was countless. Diann had a passion for nature and for spreading love. Diann was married to the love of her life, David Roger Price, for 36 years. Diann was predeceased by David and her father, Garlan Troxler. She is survived by her mother, Aileen Routh Troxler who was also her best friend; her brother, Gary Troxler and wife, Elna; sister, Patti Panetti and husband, Ernie; sisters-in-law, Linda and husband, Vic Johnson; Susan Price; Nancy and husband, Dexter Hayes; and brother-in-law Vincent Price. Also left to treasure her memory, are her nieces and nephews: Brian, Fabiana, Alexandre, Nicolas, and Isabella Troxler; Scott, Ashley and Ava Troxler; John, Kristy, Mason Troxler and Chandler Almond; Grace and Coble Panetti; Brian, Angela, Brianna and Brayden Johnson; Wendy, Scott, Paul, Stuart and Grace Johnson; Jeremy, Dasha, Cheyenne and Emily Oxendine. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate contributions to Greensboro Urban Ministry. The family will receive friends after the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
