GREENSBORO — Traffic around the Lincoln Financial Building in downtown Greensboro could be slow through Friday as firefighters practice high-rise techniques.

The Greensboro Fire Department said it will close one lane of North Greene and West Market streets from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Fire trucks will be parked around the building at 100 N. Greene St. as Greensboro firefighters practice high-rise techniques including fire attack, search and rescue efforts and ventilation practices.

Firefighters said motorists should expect delays during the training.
