GREENSBORO — "Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria Baston will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Greensboro on Thursday.

Longoria Baston, a longtime advocate for the Latino community, played Gabrielle on the ABC nighttime soap, which ran from 2004 to 2012. 

Longoria Baston will host a forum with Latino student leaders at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro at 10:30 a.m. in the Maple Room, EUC, 507 Stirling St. 

At noon, she'll participate in a voter registration kick-off at El Azteca, a local taco truck, on the corner of Tate and Spring Garden streets.

Longoria Baston will highlight Clinton's plans for affordable college tuition and job creation. She will campaign in Raleigh on Wednesday.
