GREENSBORO — A 16-year-old has been arrested in the shooting near Dudley High School that injured a person late last month, according to a news release from Greensboro police.

Prince-Fruquan Malik Allah of Greensboro was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and discharge into an occupied vehicle.

The victim, who was inside a vehicle, was shot on English Street near McConnell Road just before 5 p.m. on March 28. The driver of the vehicle called 911 and was instructed to stop near the intersection of Lincoln Street and East Gate City and wait for EMS to be dispatched, police said.

The injured person, whose identity police did not release, was taken to a hospital.
