GREENSBORO — A 20-year-old was in stable condition Saturday night after being shot, police said.

Officers responded about 8 p.m. Friday to 1812 Hudgins Drive for a reported shooting, police said in a news release. They found the victim with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to a local medical facility where he was in stable condition, police said.

Police did not identify the victim or give a motive in the shooting. They said no further information would be released at this point in the investigation.
