GREENSBORO — A Greensboro man faces at least 79 years in prison after being found guilty late last week of forcing a 6-year-old girl to perform sex acts.
Allen Jamison, 53, of 2013 Potomac Drive is convicted of three counts of sexual offense among a variety of other charges.
Superior Court Judge David Hall sentenced Jamison to serve between 79 to 130 years in prison.
Jurors deliberated in Guilford County Superior Court for less than three hours before returning a guilty verdict in a trial that lasted five days.
Guilford County Chief Assistant District Attorney Howard Neumann said the crimes began in January 2012 while Jamison dated the girl’s mother.
“He forced her to perform sexual acts on him on more than one occasion,” Neumann said.
According to Neumann, the girl told her mother about the incidents. Still, she continued to date Jamison and left her alone in his care.
The mother is also convicted for her involvement in the girl’s abuse but hasn’t been sentenced. She agreed to testify against Jamison as part of a plea agreement.
The News & Record does not name victims of sexual abuse.
The victim now lives with her father out of state.
