GREENSBORO — Two men face charges in the April 3 shooting death of a Greensboro man.
Dylan Charles Garrison, 20, of Greensboro is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 37-year-old Christopher Antonio Wooten, police said Thursday in a news release.
Jayquan Tyrik Ford, 19, of Greensboro was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact, police said.
Officers responded shortly before 4 p.m. April 3 to a report of gunshots in the 900 block of High Street and found Wooten in the road with an apparent gunshot wound, police said at the time.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died, police said.
The Greensboro Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, with the help of the State Bureau of Investigation, arrested Garrison, police said.
