HIGH POINT — Police arrested three people in connection with the Feb. 11 killing of a High Point businessman.
Brothers Kemione Grady, 18, and Larento Grady, 23, and Shirley Harrington, 24, all of High Point, face multiple charges in connection with the death of Jack Carter Little, 65, of 1905 Wakefield Place.
A customer found Little shot about 1:50 p.m. in his business, Whetstone Surplus, an Army Navy surplus store at 1222 S. Main St.
Numerous weapons were taken from the store. An exact list is not yet available.
The U.S. Marshals Office, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are helping with the investigation.
The ATF took out search warrants that led to the arrests, according to High Point Police Capt. Mike Kirk.
Kirk said some of the stolen weapons were recovered, but he did not know how many.
Kemione Grady faces charges of first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of possession of a stolen firearm.
Larento Grady faces charges of accessory after the fact to murder and two counts of possession of a stolen firearm.
Shirley Harrington faces charges of accessory after the fact to murder, possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
All are being held in the Guilford County jail. Bail information was not immediately available.
