CLEVELAND - Charles Nagy pitched a career-best five-hitter for his fourth straight victory, and Danny Tartabull committed a costly error as the Cleveland Indians beat the New York Yankees 3-0.

Nagy (8-3), who lowered his ERA to 2.22, has all five of the Indians' complete games and both of their complete-game shutouts. He walked none, struck out five and was aided by three inning-ending double plays.Cleveland has turned 73 double plays, most in the majors.

Carlos Baerga, Kenny Lofton and Paul Sorrento each hit RBI singles for Cleveland, winner of three straight. The Yankees, starting a 14-game road trip, have lost four in a row.
