The Master Gardener Program, a national program of trained volunteers who work with the county Extension Office to provide information throughout the community, will begin Jan. 9. The program will run each Wednesday from 9 a.m.-noon for about 11 weeks.

Volunteers participate in Master Gardener training program and subsequent advanced Master Gardener training sessions and workshops. Participants must be able to volunteer a minimum of 30 hours.People interested in the program may pick up an application at the Guilford County Extension office, 3309 Burlington Road.
