About 100 people in the UNCG community hold a 'silent vigil' for 22 minutes in front of the Elliot University Center on the campus.

A Facebook event invitation called on people to participate in solidarity with former employees Lyda Carpen, Chris English, and David Wilson. The three were fired last month, then charged with a combined 22 felonies connected to allegedly falsified time sheets.

Organizers of the vigil are calling on "Chancellor (Linda) Brady to end UNCG's role as 'complainant' and join faculty, students, and staff to restore our ethical academic community."
