The lineup is set - finally. The singers have rehearsed together - well, once, anyway. And tonight, the choir will make its debut.
Friendly Avenue Church of Christ, 5101 W. Friendly Ave. in Greensboro, will host the choir's first concert at 7 tonight. Vic Moran, music ministry leader at the church, will lead his choir in several traditional holiday selections, such as "Feliz Navidad" and "Silent Night."The 30-member choir is made up of church members and anyone who enjoys singing. The group, which has practiced in two parts because of scheduling differences, got together for the first time Tuesday to practice.
Choir members have come and gone throughout the 12-week practice period, and some singers have joined in the past two weeks. But Moran and the group are confident everyone will be on the same page - and key.
