Yogurt maker Siggi’s has launched a line of non-dairy yogurt alternatives. The new plant-based line products contain three times the protein and 40% less sugar than leading yogurt alternatives, the company said.
Siggi’s yogurt alternative is made with a blend of coconut, macadamia and pea protein. A 5.3-ounce serving has 10 grams of protein, Just like Siggi’s regular yogurt, the new products are low in sugar, containing 8 to 9 grams of sugar per serving.
The four flavors in the line are vanilla cinnamon, mixed berries, raspberry, and mango.
Siggi’s original yogurt is based on skyr, the thick, creamy, high-protein yogurt found in Iceland.
Siggi’s products are available in the yogurt case of most major U.S. supermarkets.
