INVITATION FOR BIDS LANDSCAPING SERVICES 20192701 Sealed Bids will be received by the Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HPHA), 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC for Landscaping Services until 11:00 am local time, Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Immediately following the deadline, the bids will be publicly opened at HPHA. Any bid received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or mailed, will be disqualified. Faxed, emailed, or other unsealed submissions will not be accepted. HPHA is soliciting for Landscaping Contractor(s) to perform various work items including, but not limited to, aerating soil, grading soil, backfilling soil, and spreading turf seeds and straw to cure erosion issues. All interested contractors may obtain IFB documents through an email to mlorenz@hpha.net or HPHA's website at www.hpha.net. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC 27260. All questions must be sent to HPHA by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Any addenda will be issued by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019. Please send two (2) copies of your bid. It is important that the bids be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner with the name of the project: "Landscaping Services 20192701". All bids must contain the following completed forms: 1. E-Verify Affidavit 2. Personnel Certification 3. Section 3 and MWBE Certifica- tions 4. Non-collusive Affidavit 5. Executive Order No. 11246 Com- pliance Report 6. References/Experience 7. Estimated Project Work Force - Prime/Sub Contractor 8. Responder's Statement (Attach- ment A) 9. Profile of Firm (Attachment B) 10. Cost Proposal (Attachment C) 11. Financial Statement or Audit 12. Certifications and Representa- tions of Offerors Non- Construction Contract (form HUD-5369-C) It is very important that each company sends to HPHA all of the required paperwork. Contract for work under this IFB will obligate the Contractor to not discriminate in employment practices. HPHA encourages minority owned, women owned, and Section 3 businesses to participate. The HPHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive minor informalities in the bidding/IFB process.
