Jamestown's Stevven Anderson, completing the 13.1 miles in one hour, 13 minutes and 17 seconds, captured third place today at the GNC Tobacco Road Half Marathon in Cary.
Hillary Too of Chapel Hill won in 1:08:23.
Meanwhile, Lewisville's Paul Sherman, who was 18th overall, took third place in the masters division with a time of 1:20:48.
Steven Johnson of Winston-Salem finished seventh in 1:15:48.
Meanwhile, two-time Greensboro Marathon champion Bryan Morseman, of Bath, N.Y., return to North Carolina and took home the win in the Allscripts Tobacco Road Marathon. Morseman finished the 26.2-miler in 2:32:39.
Greensboro's Abraham Martinez finished 26th in 3:02:16.
