Andrews High School will have a new principal starting in July.

Marcus Gause, principal of The Middle College at N.C. A&T, is set to take over on the first of the month.

The all-male middle college maintained 100 percent graduation and college acceptance under his leadership, according to a Guilford County Schools news release.

“Marcus has been an outstanding principal at The Middle College at N.C. A&T, and I know he will do great things in partnership with the Andrews High community,” Superintendent Sharon Contreras said in the release.

Current Andrews High School principal David Miller is set to serve on the district’s administrative team.

“David is a dedicated educational leader and a strong advocate for children and public education,” Contreras said. “We look forward to his continued contributions to GCS.”
