GREENSBORO — Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park will mark 40 years when it resumes on June 2 for the summer.
The city will offer the free concerts in different parks each Sunday through Aug. 25.
The summer series “brings people from all walks of life into Parks and Recreation facilities to experience local artists and musicians,” said Jennifer Hance, community engagement coordinator for the Parks and Recreation Department.
The department will partner with the Greensboro Coliseum for the first concert on June 2 at White Oak Amphitheatre in the coliseum complex.
Picnics, chairs, blankets and dogs are welcome at the event. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Parking will be free. Dogs must be on a leash.
