During this season of giving, I wish to express the United Arts Council's gratitude to all its supporters and volunteers throughout the Greater Greensboro community.

Each year, 400 volunteers work in our annual Arts Fund Campaign to raise operating and program support for the United Arts Council and its eight funded member agencies. Their talent and time commitment are truly extraordinary.Over 4,000 individuals, families, corporations, foundations and businesses make an annual financial commitment to the United Arts fund drive as well. We are indeed fortunate that so many folks and companies recognize the importance of our excellent arts and cultural resources.

One annual supporter deserves special recognition for its exemplary corporate citizenship. Jefferson-Pilot Corporation continues to provide critical leadership and essential financial support to the United Arts Council. Its annual Arts Fund gift is the Arts Council's largest corporate operating fund contribution.

These donors have made many positive things happen in the past several years in the arts and other areas that impact the quality of life our families and friends enjoy here in Greensboro. They deserve our sincere thanks.
