The curfew is being discussed prior to July 4th festivities, and just two days after 11 people were arrested following a series of fights downtown. Police said all those involved in the fights were 20 or younger.

GREENSBORO — Downtown fights on Saturday, in which 11 were arrested and police said a shot was fired, has led city council to meet in special session Wednesday to weigh whether to reinstate a curfew for most teens.
The meeting takes place at 9:30 a.m. in the Plaza Level Conference Room.
